Sexual Assault Prevention Month

This month is Sexual Assault Prevention Month and we wanted to ensure that we included dialogue about this important topic on our blog; over the next few days, we will be posting a few blogs, resources, etc, for Sexual Assault Prevention Month.

aloneWe wanted to start by sharing two blogs from The Manifest Station; we’ve shared Jennifer Pastiloff’s stuff before and recently, she featured an eye-opening story about sexual assault followed by a powerful essay regarding the culture we live in and women over-apologizing. We think all women should be aware of these things and feel empowered to take action to prevent them.

Please read both blogs below and comment, letting us know what you think (please take note of the trigger warnings at the top of each post).

Please also be sure to check out our Resources page to find help if you are struggling.
